The course focuses on the comprehension of the principles of NFPA in pediatric patients and the unique considerations for this population. Attendees will develop skills to identify malnutrition, growth abnormalities, and nutrient deficiencies in infants and children through physical assessment. They will learn how to integrate laboratory assessments (blood tests, metabolic panels) with physical findings to form a comprehensive pediatric nutritional diagnosis and apply NFPA and lab data to real-world pediatric case studies for clinical practice.
